I had way too much coffee around 11:30 and I'm only just crashing. It's 3 AM! Goddamn!
I've been doing French homework, and I stopped in the middle, There's still so much to do. I also have to do corrections on a big packet of homework that was returned to me. I'm not going to stress out about it, I just need to get my shit together.
Took my art history exam, definitely won't be making a 100% on it, but oh well, I'll make up for it with the final.
Finally nailed down a volunteer opportunity! I'm missing Archaeology, but I think it's worth it to get this done.
I've been inspired by Zane's DIY attitude (he recently dyed some shoes and they look amazing), I want to recreate this:
Like....badly. I think that if buy a set of studs I'm going to want to stud EVERYTHING I own.
wow, I need to sleep.

The Way I See It # 489
I really need to stay on top of my work. While I'm not exactly drowning, I'm finding myself procrastinating a lot, and because of this I'm at the library studying and making sure I'm ready for the day. Maybe this is ordinary behavior for a student that I just haven't been following?
After getting a grade lower than I wanted on my Archaeology exam, I'm putting my nose to the grind stone and completely ALL of the readings for every class. I realized that there were a lot of readings I just couldn't catch up on last time around. But, an hour before my class starts I've finished the last of the reading and I am on track in Archaeology.
French is another story. Because I thought I was getting sick I decided to skip French and remedy myself with preventative sleep-measures. This might have been a mistake, but at the moment I've averted disease and I'm ready to jump back into the game. Too bad I have a writing assignment and an entire topic I haven't learned to leap into.
Also I have an Art History exam which I only just made slides for. Tonight will include massive amounts of slide-memorizing and Starbucks coffee (Not plain coffee, that stuff is terrible.)
However, this weekend was fun, the weather was gorgeous, and I spent a lot of time with Michele which was really cool. I'm beginning to see that we share the same kind of humor, which is nice, because I hate getting those weird stares from everyone else.
My witchcraft class will be held at an undisclosed location today due to some concerns about a student in our class with a rogue agenda. I would get into the whole story, but it's long, and I have some French to do (apparently).

The Way I See It # 428
I wish that I had a craft that I was really good at so that I could blog about it. A lot of people scoff when they tell me that they despise the idea of "personal" blogs, and that they much prefer blogs about a certain subject, whether it be fashion, politics, comic books, cooking, knitting, whatever.
I would say that I agree. When it comes to the types of blogs that I read, I'm far more interested in topics about things I'm unfamiliar with, or am obsessed with, rather than reading about someone's personal life. Not that I don't like reading personal blogs; I love them. But I would say a majority of the new blogs I start reading are about a certain subject unrelated to the personal life of the author.
On that note, thank you for reading!
While I do have a blog about fashion and design in general, it's unlike most other fashion blogs I've become a fan of. Mostly because the fashion blogs I read include pictures of the authors, and they clothes they have. I for one, have no money to spend on clothing, and have used this as an excuse not to look cute and fashionable in my day-to-day. This will simply have to change. I can't hide behind a monetary excuse for the way I look when it's fairly easy to look stylish on the dime. So I will be putting my outfits together and taking pictures. I think that this will also help with me finding out exactly what my style is, because, really, I have no idea what it is at this point. If you'd like to see the pictures, or if you're unaware of my fashion (ish) blog, don't hesitate to visit here.
Just a quick update, I've added a language translator to the page. I've decided that it might be beneficial for my French if I have my blog translated into it so I can read aloud and feel proficient. If you happen to speak another language (or several) you can get practice AND keep up with my life. (I've also added it to Interior Motive). You can thank me when we carry on a conversation in french. :)
Speaking of readers, I've noticed some new readers (because I'm creepy and sitemeter allows me to do this). Welcome!
Shifting gears, I've been at the library all night studying for my Physics exam next week. I decided to get some Starbucks. By the way, I find it appalling that there are no late-night coffee shops except for the Village and 3rd Street Diner (a long ass walk). At any rate, I was standing in line, and a guy behind me told the barista his order. He said,
"Yeah, I'll have a coffee....erm... the largest size you have.... and also... another largest size... and... do you guys do iced coffee?"
The barista took his order, and I turned to him,
Me: "It's called a Venti"
Him: "What?"
Me: "The largest size, it's a 'Venti'"
Him: "Oh, thank you!"
Me: "Have you never been to a Starbucks before?"
Him: "ermm... no."
Me: "Wow! Rare breed!"
Him: "Yeah, well I'm cramming, so....and it's my parents money... they can afford it...."
Me: "Well, then why not?"
It was refreshing to see someone who had never been to a Starbucks. It made my day, actually.

The Way I See It # 367

The Way I See It # 365
I just realized that I have a lab period tomorrow, so I don't need to get up early(ish). Plus, I already did my lab assignment, AND the Quia that's due tomorrow night.
I'm all clean now, my hair is better shape. I only tell you all this because I know you really want to know.
Night time is the worst. I think it will be for a while.
But I'm ok.

FUCK.
whatever.

The Way I See It # 336
I'm up to my eyeballs in vocabulaire francaise, I have a whole chapter in urban planning to read that I will probably finish tomorrow, The linguistics readings I had made very little sense, and I think I'm actually being challenged. C'est tres bien, je pense. Today was Sid and I's anniversaire, 22 months to be exact. Nous sommes sortis au dîner à "l'éléphant thaï" and had a great time! I had wonton soup, and it tasted just like my favorite back home at Tara Thai, and the fried rice. After dinner we got Ben and Jerry's ice cream from 7-11 and went to my apartment to hang out. It was a really lovely evening, I really enjoyed myself. :)
I'm trying to think up articles to write for the CT, does anyone have any good ideas?
Also, Evan has a blog now! You can find it in my "Favorite Roasts" under the link "logic laser: Welcome To My World"

The Way I See It # 327
So I'm back a day later?
I went to Ikea today with Michele, and it was a lot of fun. We went to Waffle house, which isn't fun. I had a good time, but I just don't like being at Waffle House. I don't see the charm. I see dirty tables, limp waffles, forgotten bacon, and flies..... so many flies. I'll do my best to stay away from there from now on.
I'm fitting gym time into my calendar since I want to rape this whole running routine. Yeah, I said rape. So I'm a broken record, I've said this all before... I want to get in shape, be athletic, blah blah blah whatever, you know what I'm saying.
to buy at the book store:
printer paper
HP 74 inkjet cartridge black
books for URSP and LING (when they are announced)
j'ai la classe du Francaise, le classe du physique, et Linguistique demain. Je dois Dormir!
special birthday shout out to Misha! Happy birthday girl!

The Way I See It # 323
Michele and I went to Franklin St. Gym and it turns out the pool doesn't open until 11. I'm okay with that because I was worried about being ready for class, but we're going at 12:30 now, so it's going to be good! I've turned on Spike TV, which is always running a James Bond marathon. I'm guessing the movie I'm watching is "For Your Eyes Only". Aren't the intros to James Bond movies ridiculous? Naked women swimming in silhouettes, acid-trip colors, guns, oo7 himself.... I love James Bond movies. This one is great. I only remember bits and pieces of it, but in "For Your Eyes Only" a british spy ship, posing as a fishing boat, takes in a large haul..... except it's a mine... so the ship explodes and sensitive information is at stake.
I have French in two hours, now that I'm awake.
hopefully I'll party tonight!

The Way I See It # 321
I had an awesome night tonight. I didn't go out, but I was hanging out with Michele and Sarah, and it was fucking awesome. I'm so glad Sarah and I have a class together this year because she's awesome. Michele and Sarah told me that we all have to go out together because we, unlike all the other girls at VCU, aren't single and would like to party with "taken" ladies. I'm really excited about this. I hope I'm not too excited, but something tells me this is going to be great. I didn't go to Ebbie's house warming party because I felt it was more important to hang out with Michele and Sarah. If Ebbie reads this, and is offended even though I don't think she will be, sorry, but I'm trying to make new friends, and I can't be blamed for that.
I was kind of bummed last night because Sid and I didn't hang out, and if I was off today, it's because of that. My adjustment to being independent is probably going to make me a little moody, but I'm sorry for any addition mood problems I seem to have. I'm not unhappy, I love you, but I'm working things out to make my life here at VCU even better.
I'm excited for French tomorrow. I only have two classes tomorrow because Physics starts tomorrow. So I have French from 11-11:50, and then Art History from 5:30-6:45!
Since i have a big break, I might go to the gym, or walk around looking at all the Freshmen scramble.
SUCK IT I HAD A GREAT NIGHT!
